They should be back in 6-9 month's time, according to the bassist (We all know how trustworthy bassists are though...). The show focused on the feats of the "freaks" more than displaying the people which I found to be very inspiring and well fun. It seemed like everyone, including the audience, was having a blast. I bought the CD from the band in the show. They play fun carny music and the lyrics kind of narrate the show. I recommend checking it out when they come back to town. The guy who was filling in between the first and second performance, however, was awful. He went by the name Super Yeah Yeah Fun Rocketship. And the bit about abiogenesis is total nonsense. All four nucleotides that make up RNA have been produced (under primitive earthlike conditions) in the laboratory. Scientists know that clay, or even ice, can encourage these nucleotides to join up, and of course we have observed that certain chains of RNA reproduce. If the primordial earth made a few hundred strands of RNA, that would definitely result in something self reproducing. There was one in there that were abstracts from some conferences. It was amazing to think people were taking such things seriously. It was the one at the link I'll throw at the bottom. What also fascinates me is that they have had this journal up for the better part of a year now and they have produced fewer than 10 articles, none of which are even close to meaningful.
