Doctor's Data Jihad Against Public Health Continues...

The story about Doctor's Data suing Quackwatch is growing. Today it was on the NESS feed, and the following unbelievable request on the part of the Doctor's Data charlatans

WHEREFORE, DOCTOR’S DATA, INC., Plaintiff, prays that this court enter an order granting Doctor’s Data a permanent injunction; direct them to remove or delete all disparaging statements and remarks pertaining to Doctor’s Data from these or any web sites under their control; and prohibit them from publishing these or any other or additional such remarks on blogs, the aforesaid websites, or any other web sites pending the outcome of this litigation.

Dude, prayer won't help you. You just fucked up your business. You fucked with the wrong community of public health activists. This is a farcical suit, and Doctor's Data has no integrity.

Scott Silverstein has identified this as a clear case of a SLAPP suit and recommends that you use Senator Grassley's whistleblower hotline (whistleblower@finance-rep.senate.gov) and let him know about this legal intimidation.
