How do you access HJHOP?
Question:
How do you usually access this website? I only ask because sitemeter often can't tell me that, especially when you are not coming in via Google search.
Do you use Twitter? (Does the twitter headline feeder I tried to set up even work?) Bloglines? Google reader? Intrusive dreams? The town crier?
Lemme know, please. Any options that I should have on the site?
HJ

Sometimes Google Reader, sometimes Facebook.
I would enjoy if you started archiving some stuff by tags. I'd love to go through, for instance, all the poetry slams at once, or find all the padcasts (You do call them padcasts right? If not, you should).
I check in generally once a day, and only ever on my desktop.

When I can't watch you type the posts from outside your window (which isn't often), I use Google Reader.
I have Pharyngula on Google Reader, I saw his shout out to you, liked what I saw and added you to my GR. I tend to read most of what you say. Ok, I skim over the more arcane Americana (UK reader here, some of what you say just doesn't cross the Atlantic. That's no fault of yours though, the offside rule doesn't go the other way either), but you do entertain me no end.
So... I see your updates via Google Reader, usually click through to your site, almost always read whatever you have to comment on and sometimes make a halfarsed comment in return.
I check in every day or two, either via the Sage/Sage Too plugin for Firefox or via my phone browser (Opera Mini) when I'm too damn lazy to get out the laptop.
I wish the podcast archives were centralized, but then again I also wish Don McLeroy would choke to death on his own vomit while sodomizing Bill Donohue.
I have my girlfriend use a ter'angreal that is attuned to your site, and she then recites the posts to me. When we're not together, I use Google Reader.
Google Reader for me!
I stumbled over here about a year ago after PZ linked to you. Been on my favorites bar ever since. Your blog is always a good read, but it needs more DoTs.
Hey, HJ!
I always read using Google Reader. Sorry my own blog has been so quiet. I'm about ready to start up again. We'll see how that goes.
Google Reader (GR) for some time now. I used to check directly, but found GR great at managing the handful of sites I read.
Google Reader. Sometimes I click over here to see the comments.
What Susannah and Ryan said... I'm probably not showing up as a visitor most of the time, unless I'm coming over to comment or read same.
I sneak in via Google Reader on an Eee 1000 running Lucid Lynx and stealing free wi-fi from my neighbours in Surat Thani, Thailand. Do I win a stuffed pancake?
Cannonballjones wins the stuffed pancake, IMHO.
I get here through that Blogger updater thingie on my dashboard. Is that Google Reader? I don't even know. And I only come by occasionally.
I have you bookmarked and check in at least once a day.
@Lledowyn
Nice WoT reference. You don't see those much in conversation.
I use Akregator to view the feed.
Google Reader
Am I the only one left still using a stand-alone RSS reader (NetNewsWire) on my desktop computer?
Apparently.
Another GR user - I used to trawl round the blogs one at a time but GR wraps them all up and delivers them neatly in one place.
I read it through Netvibes.
FEEDREADER, BABY!!!
Though to be honest, the Google Reader hivemind is calling me...
Google reader.
Google Reader all the way here, with the occasional use of NewsRob on my Android phone.
I read through the Firefox add-on Brief.
Google reader. I come over for realz when it's an article I want to read more carefully or I have the urge to comment.
I know it doesn't make any difference but somehow I've formed the habit of reading posts in the real blog if they pique my interest.
You're bookmarked (#5 on opinions list, behind Jesus' general and preceding Panda's Thumb).
I most likely was first directed here from Pharyngula, but that was some time ago so I'm not certain.
Bookmark in my browser.
Bookmark in my browser. Wander in every other day or so.
Google Reader, with (usually) a click through to read comments.
Google Reader these days. Because I'm essentially a lazy git. (Hi! Sorry I haven't commented in forever!)
NetNewsWire.
This was a very clever ploy to figure out how many regular readers you have.
I came by your site by searching google for "nazi ballerina nympho and mechanical fairy remover with optional equine castration unit"...actually I wonder how many people getting here from searches in your "Finding Jihad" posts stick around.
I think I came through PZ, and just access through a bookmark on my bookmark toolbar.
Linked from either Crooks and Liars or Fannie's Room. Probably the latter, since you're right below her on my bookmarks.
I just type an H right into my browser, and dear old Firefox always knows I'm looking for you and only for you. None of that newfangled reader-thingy stuff for me, nosir. Originally found you via PZ, of course.
