I got a Les Paul Studio...

...and I now know what sustain is.

Oh.

My.

Lack.

Of.

God.

I love it! Yay! It cost me a pretty penny, more than 8.5 hundred dollars (it sounds more impressive if you put it that way), but it was totally and completely worth it. It was my gummint check, stimulating the economy and whatnot. Faded cherry.

Also, I have a Memory Man coming, because I was in a spending mood.

Having a hell of a time at the expense of my neighbors...

Congratulations! I am still ripping on my Srat but lusting after a Les Paul. Or is it a Tele? Sigh.

Enjoy!

I'm totally from the party that says that you're paying mainly for those 6 letters on the headstock. I would have to sit down and play several Gibsons before I considered buying one - Gibson's quality control is horrible. When you get that one, though.. don't let go.

Fantastic guitar. Had one myself for years and the neighbors hate me!!! I blast mine through a 100 watt Marshall.

Have fun!!!

Congrats... Own 1lp, 2 strats and 1 tele. The tele is the most versitile of all .. can somewhat sound lp/humbuckerish... That'd be my next aquisition... go with a Squire.

It ain't no fun unless it rattles the neighbor's windows, like a Telecaster through that Fender Bandmaster I used to have back in the day.
