There should be a blanket law against declaring that you have cured cancer, or perhaps a law that threw folks who got in between a patient and legitimate medical treatment in jail. I almost wish there was a hell, a deep frigid hell, for people like Benny Hinn.
I can't believe this shit counts as a religion. Fucking scam artist. I was unable to find the 60 Minutes clip about him. If you have the link let me know.

I can't seem to find the 60 Minutes piece, but this "The Many Faces of Benny Hinn" documentary seems to do a good job of exposing the self-interest and hypocrisy of the blight on humanity that is Benny Hinn.

I'm running out of Chariots of Iron podcasts for my stupid commutes in Chicagoland and I really enjoyed the Protocols of the Neigbors of Howse show. I mean, really, who doesn't love shows where someone name-drops Weisshaupt & the Rothschilds in context and isn't either a tinfoil-hatter or Robert Anton Wilson (though I may repeat myself...)
FWIW, I've got a great ghost tour story but it may fall into the category of "you had to be there."

I watched the first 3 parts of the show (I'm certain that I was thinking of Dateline now, not 60 Minutes), and I am full of rage. I'm not certain about whether or not I should include the in the section on my class on cults or mass hysteria or alternative medicine. Decisions, decisions.
Anyway, I'm off to the show! Wish me backstage access!
